PARTICIPANTS
We provide an intimate experience in small groups of up to 6 participants per one guide. Solo travellers, couples, frineds and families with kids over 15 years old are very welcome to join this adventure holiday.

EQUIPMENT
We provide electric bikes, helmets, and bike bags. All kayaking equipment is included, with wetsuits, life vests, and neoprene booties to ensure your comfort and safety. Tents and outdoor kitchen supplies are provided for the group. Please bring your own sleeping bags and mats, or you can rent them from us.
LOCATIONS
The tour starts in Haugastøl. The biking section goes along the famous Rallarvegen and stops in Finse for an overnight stay. We continue biking down the Rallarvegen until we arrive in Flåm. There, we start our kayaking journey in Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord. On this tour, we visit Undredal village and pass by some other cozy fjord settlements. The tour concludes in Gudvangen. We'll transport you back to Flåm, or you can stay in Gudvangen and continue exploring Norway from there. Need directions? Check out the FAQ page.
ACTIVITIES
On this tour, we cycle the Rallarvegen trek on e-bikes, kayak in the fjords, and hike up the mountains for perfect views. We camp in idyllic spots accessible only by water.
DIFFICULTY
Suitable for generally fit people, the tour includes 82 km of biking over 2 days using e-bikes, making the uphill parts less challenging. No prior kayaking experience is required for the paddling section, which covers 35 km between Flåm and Gudvangen over 3 days. We paddle an average of 4 hours each day, with plenty of breaks. The hiking trails on this tour are marked as easy to moderate.

Our journey begins with your arrival at Haugastøl, where the earliest trains from Oslo and Bergen arrive at 10:17 am. At 11:00 am, we gather for a meet and greet, followed by a comprehensive briefing to cover essential information and safety guidelines for our tour. After the briefing, we’ll enjoy a picnic-style lunch together before packing and preparing our electric bikes. Your larger luggage will be transported to Flåm, allowing you to carry only your essentials. In the early afternoon, we set off on the famous Rallarvegen, a historic construction road that dates back to the early 1900s. Originally built to support the construction of the Bergen Railway, Rallarvegen now serves as one of Norway's most scenic cycling routes. Our 27 km ride from Haugastøl to Finse can take up to 4 hours, offering breathtaking views of mountains, lakes, and untouched wilderness, all made enjoyable and accessible with our electric bikes. Upon arrival in Finse, we’ll check in at Finsehytta, a cozy mountain lodge. After settling in, you’ll have free time to explore Finse at your leisure, whether you choose to stroll, take photos, or simply relax. At 19:00, we’ll gather for a delicious dinner at Finsehytta, sharing stories from the day and looking forward to the adventures ahead. After dinner, we’ll rest up for another exciting day on our tour.

We start our day with a breakfast at Finsehytta, providing you with the energy needed for the adventures ahead. Around 9:00 we embark on our main journey with a 38 km bike ride to Vatnahalsen, which can take up to 5 hours. We’ll travel along Rallarvegen, enjoying stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. Midway, we'll take a break for a packed lunch and some rest, giving us time to recharge and take in the beautiful scenery. At Vatnahalsen, those seeking an extra thrill can experience the Flåm Zipline, one of the longest ziplines in Scandinavia (for an additional cost). Whether you choose to zipline or continue biking, the next leg of our journey is the 17 km ride to Flåm. This section is the most exhilarating part of Rallarvegen, featuring 21 sharp bends as we descend to Kårdal, the highest farm in Flåmsdalen. From Kårdal, the road continues through the wild and picturesque Flåm Valley. Upon arriving in Flåm, we’ll check in at Flåm Camping, where we’ll be staying in cozy cabins with rooms for 2 and 4 people. Once you've settled into your accommodation, the rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to explore. Flåm offers various activities to suit all interests. You might relax in a floating sauna, visit Ægir Brewery for a great meal and beer tasting, or explore more of our recommendations for Flåm on our blog.
