This guided cycling tour begins at our base in Flåm, where your guide will introduce the electric bikes and explain how to operate them. They’ll also help you adjust your helmets and seats for the perfect fit. Once everyone is ready, we’ll have a little test drive to ensure everyone feels comfortable before venturing out into the breathtaking Flåm Valley. As we ride, our knowledgeable guides will share stories about the area’s nature and history, with stops at landmarks like the local church and the birthplace of Flåm tourism. We’ll then ride up the valley (effortlessly, thanks to our e-bikes!) to visit a stunning waterfall and river while learning more about Norway’s trekking culture and the construction of the famous Flåmsbana railway. On the return journey, we’ll take a slightly different path, offering a glimpse into rural life. Keep an eye out—you might spot some friendly goats, sheep, or even fluffy highland cows grazing in the fields. Curious about the Huldras and their mysterious allure? Wonder why so many houses in Norway are painted red? Or what Flåm has to do with the Eiffel Tower? Join us to uncover these fascinating stories! This tour offers more than just culture and history—it’s a look into everyday life in a fjord village!
