This guided walking tour doesn't require any prior experience. The hike is marked as easy, with an elevation gain of 224 meters.
This guided walking tour starts from our base in Flåm and guides you through the stunning Flåm Valley. Our knowledgeable guides will share local stories about the area's nature and history, including stops at landmarks like the stave church and the birthplace of Flåm tourism. After exploring for a while, we'll hike uphill to Brekkefossen, a beautiful waterfall above Flåm. In just 30 minutes, you'll reach a rocky lookout with breathtaking views over the village and Aurlandsfjord. On the return journey, we'll take a different route back to the center, offering glimpses of local rural life. You'll pass by cozy gardens, lush green fields, and even encounter some friendly farm animals. This tour isn't just about culture and history; it's also a window into the day-to-day life of a fjord village!
